The glass in question is the glass they use to make tobacco water pipes.

You can use a string soaked with gasoline, then wrap the string

around the glass bottle/ tubing. Set it on fire(the string) when it burns

out, give the bottle/ tubing a firm strike against a solid surface, and it

should break off at the string line that you used.

I would not suggest cutting ANY glass piece, for the following

getting it back together can be a royal pain.

BUT if you must, I suggest you use a little hack saw with a medium density
of teeth on the blade, depending on where its broken I'd suggest using
glass epoxy (if the break is in the stem connecting the bowl to the mouth
piece would be most ideal) any other glue won't hold. However if that is
not the case I would suggest just buying a new pipe, there is plenty of
places online to buy them.
